French Exit staged Saint Laurent’s FW24 collection within nocturnal Parisian spaces — private clubs, hotel corridors, and rooftops at dawn. The campaign captured fleeting moments of departure: cigarette smoke, half-zipped dresses, and tailored jackets draped carelessly over shoulders. Through monochrome cinematic photography and blunt graphic framing, A/M presented Saint Laurent not as static elegance, but as lived attitude — sharp, sensual, and unapologetically Parisian.

Approach

A/M treated the act of leaving as spectacle. Models were shot mid-motion — turning, disappearing into elevators, vanishing through glass doors — framed against stark interiors and neon-lit exteriors. Lighting emphasized contrast, with silhouettes cutting across black and white compositions. Short-format films played with rhythm and interruption, echoing the campaign’s namesake: abrupt exits, sharp edits, and fractured narratives.

Outcome

French Exit launched across billboards in Paris, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, accompanied by digital shorts optimized for Instagram and TikTok. Editorial spreads appeared in Another Magazine, i-D, and Vogue Paris. The campaign was praised for its blunt elegance and cultural clarity, reinforcing Saint Laurent’s position at the intersection of tailoring, nightlife, and modern Parisian attitude.
